MSE tags Chrome as malware

Microsoft Security Essentials

According to the Chrome blog, Microsoft Security Essentials has mistakenly identified Google Chrome as malware. Google’s browser is identified as Zbot. Microsoft has since released a signature update for MSE. Chrome must be uninstalled from the desktop and re-installed to correct the problem. The blog post has detailed instructions with screenshots to help Chrome users through it. Luckily no serious system damage is done to desktop, and the problem is relatively easy to fix.
